Your health data is accessed only with your explicit consent and is primarily processed locally on your device. We do not use your health data for advertising, marketing, or behavioral profiling. Your health data will never be sold to third parties.

GrowPal allows you to share select health data with friends for mutual encouragement and support. The “Care” feature is built with layered privacy protections to ensure you retain full control over your personal health data:

• Customizable sharing controls

• Customizable notifications

• Temporary data retention (up to 30 days)

• Friend removal mechanism

• No server-side profiling

• User control of Care settings

You may enable or disable the Care feature at any time in settings. When disabled, all shared and received Care data and notifications will be paused.

To participate in GrowPal Challenges, users must sign in with their Apple ID. By joining a challenge, you consent to uploading limited health data needed for ranking. Participation is optional.

Supported challenge data types may include:

• Steps • Sleep • Active Calories • Activity Rings • Water Intake • Mindfulness Minutes • Time in Daylight • Cycling • Running • Swimming • Handwashing • Ball Sports

Data is securely stored during the challenge and deleted or anonymized upon withdrawal.

In case of app errors, we may collect Log Data via third-party products. This may include: IP address, device name, OS version, app configuration, usage time, and statistics.

The app does not use cookies directly, but third-party tools may use them to improve their services. You can accept or refuse cookies in your device settings.

We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our services, provide the service on our behalf, and perform analytics. These providers must follow strict confidentiality rules.

We use standard practices to protect your personal and health data. This includes TLS for data in transit, AES-256 for data at rest, and limiting server-side storage to only what’s needed.

GrowPal is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of it, we will delete the data. Parents may contact us to request removal.
